ABOUT CLAT EXAM 2021
Common Law Admission Test also known as CLAT is a National Level Exam, conducted annually for admission into Government affiliated National Law Universities of the country. These Universities admit students for Graduate and Post-Graduate Law programmes.
CLAT is an online exam with 200 questions, in UG programmes, relating to English, General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Legal Reasoning. There are 50 questions in Post Graduation Programmes. There is a 1 mark for every correct answer while 0.25 mark is deducted for every wrong answer. A total of 21 universities of the country provide admissions through the exam. An approximate figure of 40,000 students all over India take this test to get into the limited 2400 seats in Under-Graduation Programmes and 625 seats in Post Graduation Programmes.
